They say “necessity is the mother of invention”! Lisa-Jae Eggert and her family were hit hard by multiple tick-borne diseases. She developed neurological Lyme after a tick bite and was misdiagnosed with MS, Lupus, and early onset Alzheimer's, and the use of traditional repellents only made her symptoms worse. Finding a way to keep herself and her family protected from ticks and mosquitoes was THE motivator for creating TickWise, as she couldn’t find any products on the market that were not only safe but also effective. And so, in 2018, she created TickWise by 3 Moms Organics! The inclusion of Kammy Wolf in 2022 marked a significant milestone for 3 Moms Organics, as Kammy and her family have also had their own harrowing experience with tick-borne diseases. Together, they run their women-owned small business with an emphasis on their social mission: Helping people stay safe from ticks and other biting insects, so no one has to be as sick as they were.
