Botanical Bones

Hi I'm Rachel. I started Botanical Bones, a wellness-inspired dog treat business. Our treats are made with superfoods + adaptogens + lots of peanut butter. We are based in Asheville, NC.

The business started shortly after our family rescued a 4-month-old puppy, Carnaby, in the early days of the pandemic. When we brought him home from the animal shelter he was extremely anxious.

As new dog owners, we set out to address Carnaby's struggles the same as we would for our own: in the kitchen.

We’re strong believers in the healing power of plants. It was clear that Carnaby was struggling so I started experimenting with superfoods and adaptogens our family in our daily life for wellness.

When we saw how much our pup loved the treats we were making we decided to share them with neighbors. Pretty soon we realized we needed to share these superfood treats with the world!
