Curious Corners

Curious Corner was founded by Sayaka Toyama in 2014 as a platform to introduce Japanese culture and crafts to an international audience. We work closely with artisans who have been engaged in traditional crafts over many generations in Japan. Our indigo dyers, kamon designers, and denim mills, produce one-of-a-kind lifestyle items. We also source precious vintage textiles from Japan, giving them new lives in contemporary settings.

We recently launched a new program offering bespoke travel experiences in Japan. Collaborating with our long-time associates, artisans and culture experts from across Japan, we coordinate and curate unforgettable excursions and opportunities to learn the core values of Japanese culture.
