At More Than Words, every dollar goes back into our program to empower youth to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.

More Than Words started as the “book people” and we still are—but we are so much more. Our social enterprises are the vehicle for youth transformation and as we’ve grown we’ve innovated with new vehicles and new ways to connect with our community.

Support our youth-run businesses by shopping our selection of new and used books, as well as our youth-made and youth-curated selection of gift items from social enterprises and artists from marginalized communities. You can also book our mobile bookstore to come to you, or rent our South End event space for your next get together!
