Zizamele Ceramics

Handmade and handpainted African-inspired ceramics by a group of local Xhosa artists. The signature product is the Ubuntu Bowl which comes in various sizes from tiny to gi-normous! he word “ubuntu” means “I am because you are” in Xhosa. The bowls express solidarity as the clay women figures hold hands around the rim of the bowls. They wear their African headdresses and carry their babies on their backs, African-style. There is also a range of related products—vases, t-lite candles and planters.
