When you do your online shopping this holiday season, consider supporting the women-owned small businesses located in Asheville, North Carolina—a community still struggling from the effects of Hurricane Helene. Almost every business in Asheville and the surrounding area was affected by Helene. Businesses faced everything from lost inventory to an exodus of employees to bad roads and erratic power and water. They also had to deal with a reduced tourism season that is so critical to this area.
